Biography

Eunju Kim is a Research Fellow at the Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA), a national research institute under the Prime Minister’s Office. She obtained her PhD in public policy from the Graduate School of Public Administration, Seoul National University. Previously, she was a Visiting Fellow at the Centre for the Study of Poverty and Social Justice, University of Bristol in the U.K. Before joining KIPA, she worked for the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) as a Governance Specialist and Policy Assistant at the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea. Her research interest is in international development policy and global governance; policy evaluation; poverty measurement; and social protection in developing countries. Her publication includes “A Normative Reflection on Korean ODA Policy: Self-Regards, Duty, and Obligation”, “Meta-evaluation for ODA Country Program Evaluation”, “Multidimensional Child Poverty in South Korea: Developing child-specific indicator for the Sustainable Development Goals”
