Biography
Professor Kim Ki-seob is a historian currently a tenured professor at the Department of History at the College of Humanities at Pusan National University. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from the Department of History at Pusan National, then his Master’s Degree from the Department of Korean History at the graduate school of Seoul National University and, ultimately, his Ph.D. at Pusan National University in history. He has served as the 19th President of Pusan National University as well as being the co-chair of the Busan Science and Technology Council, Vice-President of the Korean Council for University Education, President of the Chancellor’s Conference of the Busan Ulsan Gyeongnam region and the President of the Chancellor’s Conference of the National Council for Public Universities. He is very dedicated to promoting higher education in the Republic of Korea.
