Biography

Mi Sook Lee is an editorial writer at Munhwailbo, a national daily evening newspaper in Seoul. As a staff writer of Munhwailbo, Lee covered diplomatic affairs for over twenty years, conducting interviews with numerous policy makers and experts and writing about issues including inter-Korea relations, ROK-US relations, US policy on North Korea nuclear problem, the Six Party Talks and US-Korean affairs. Lee served as an editor of international news from 2012 to 2017 and as a Washington DC correspondent from 2003 to 2006.
She authored four books 《Philanthropy Goes Global》(2012) 《Global Leader Interviews》(2009), 《Philanthropy in America》(2004), 《The Change has begun: Where to go North Korea in the era of Kim Jun-gil》(1999) and She also translated Ambassador Christopher Hill's Memoir 'Outpost' into Korean(2014).
Lee hold a bachelor's degree in Education from Yonsei University and a master's degree in Comparative Politics from Korea University. She was a visiting scholar at Fairleigh Dikinson University in New Jersey from 1999 to 2000.
