Biography

Geoffrey See is the Founder and Chairman of Choson Exchange. Over more than a decade, Geoffrey built the leading grassroots-led organization driving economic change in DPR Korea, training over 2000 DPR Koreans in entrepreneurship, economic policy and law and reaching more than 10,000 with their materials. In Korea, his work exposed a generation of Koreans to international practices, and contributed to enterprise reform, Special Economic Zones establishment and legal reforms strengthening property rights. His work has been written up as Harvard Business School case study, which he helps teach to Harvard MBAs in a class on Global Capitalism. Geoffrey also advises an inter-Korean government project, is a Kauffman Fellow in venture capital and is passionate about technologies for financial inclusion and data. He co-founded a co-working space business in Vietnam, help established a securities exchange in Singapore built on blockchain technology, and most recently is working to provide identity solutions for the unbanked in emerging markets through AI and facial recognition technologies. Geoffrey graduated from Yale University and the Wharton School and was an exchange student at Tsinghua University. Geoffrey joined the World Economic Forum's Young Global Leader class of 2019.
