Youngsung Lee is a Professor at Seoul National University. He teaches urban and regional economics, infrastructure planning, smart city planning, and cost-benefit analysis. His recent research interest covers policies and planning for new industries in the 4th industrial revolution, smart city planning, city regeneration, etc. He was Senior Editor of the International Journal of Urban Science between 2017 and 2019, and also Editor of the Korean Journal of Regional Science between 2015 and 2017. He also worked as a committee member of the Seoul Metropolitan Area Readjustment Working Committee between 2015 and 2019.
