
Biography
Kim In-hwan was born in Jocheon, Jeju in 1962 and served as the first director of the Jeju Knowledge Industry Promotion Agency. He served as a Policy Specialist for the National Assembly Science and Technology Information and Communications Standing Committee, Chairman of the Goyang Knowledge Industry Promotion Agency, and Chairman of the regional SW industrial development consultation.
He has experience in fields such as Smart City @Malta(2007), Jeju Smart Grid Pilot project(2009), Goyang Smart City Pilot project(2016), and Seoul Smart City Special Zone project(2018). Recently, he has been teaching and researching appropriate technology and the smart city field at AIEES of Seoul National University. Especially, he is interested in integrating citizen-led technology innovation and social acceptance, such as Design Thinking and Living lab, into social economy such as inclusion and shared economy in connection with the fourth industrial revolution.
