Biography
Oshita Yoshiyuki specializes in cultural policy with a Ph.D. in Art. He holds the following positions: Executive Director of the National Museum of Art; Board Member of Nitten, the most popular of all the great art organizations in Japan; Councilor of the Shizuoka Performing Arts Center; Co-Deputy Representative of the Network for Policy Analysis; Committee Member of Japan Tourism Agencyʼs Committee for examining regional tourism routes that can be promoted to the world; Committee Member of the Arts Council Tokyo; Academic Ambassador of 2025 Osaka Expo; Member of the Olympics and Paralympics Culture Program Shizuoka Prefecture Promotion Committee; Member of Kanazawa Culture City of East Asia 2018 Executive Committee; and Advisor for Tsuruoka Creative City of Gastronomy, Advisor. His publication includes Arts Council: Practical problems about arm’s length principle (Suiyoushya, 2017).
