Mr. Li Zhaoxing is now serving as Honorary President of Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs. He has worked as Permanent Representative and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Nations(1993-1995), Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs(1995-1998), Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United States(1998-2001),Secretary of CPC Leadership Group of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs(2001-2003 ), Minister of Foreign Affairs(2003-2007 ), Chairman of NPC Foreign Affairs Committee(2008-2013).
