강유안은 건국대학교에서 향장학 석사를 취득하였고 2001년 숙명여대 경영대학원에 국내최초로 개설된 피부미용최고경영자과정의 책임교수, 2010년 보건복지부 뷰티산업 경쟁력강화위원회 위원과 선진화지원센터 정책지원TF 위원장을 역임하였으며, 2013년 국제 유기농 화장품 컨퍼런스 주관 등 1986년부터 33년간 국내 뷰티산업과 화장품산업을 동시에 아우르는 전문가로 명성을 쌓아가고 있다. 이에 공로를 인정 받아 2015년 뷰티산업 부문 ‘제3회 대한민국평화대상’을 수상하기도 했다. 2012년에 천연기능성 화장품 전문 기업인 ㈜대한뷰티산업진흥원을 설립, 2013년 제주로 이전하여 기업부설 천연물 연구소, 국제인증 공장, 울금 농장 운영을 하면서 제주산 홍해삼, 풋귤의 글로벌화에 앞장서며 제주의 강소기업으로 성장시키고 있다.

Kang You-an obtained a master’s degree in cosmetology from Konkuk University and became the first professor of skin beauty management program opened at Sookmyung Women's University Business School in 2001. She served as a member of the Health and Welfare Ministry's Beauty Industry Competitiveness Committee in 2010 and chairman of the Policy SupportTF. For 33 years from 1986 she has built her reputation as an expert covering both the domestic beauty and cosmetics industries. In recognition of these contribution, she also won “the 3rd Korea Peace Prize" in the beauty industry category in 2015. In 2012, she established KBIDI Co.,Ltd. which specializes in natural functional cosmetics, and moved the company to Jeju in 2013, and has been operating natural mineral research institutes, international certification factories, and turmeric farms to take the lead in globalizing Jeju red sea ginseng and green tangerines.
