Biography

Milan Lajciak, born in 1958 in Slovakia and graduated from Russia's Moscow National University of International Relations, is considered an East Asian expert who has been mostly engaged in diplomatic activities in Asia for more than two decades, including Czechoslovak Consulate General in Shanghai, senior foreign affairs secretary and director general of the Asia-Pacific and the Slovakian ambassador to Korea. In particular, he emphasized the need for economic exchanges between Korea and Slovakia, and highly evaluated the possibility of development through cooperation. He will present his opinion on the successful ways of economic and sociocultural approaches to the advancement of regional industries into the global market with his thorough knowledge of Eastern and Western culture as well as the economic and industrial sectors. The main books include ”East and West: Manifestation of Ancient Thought Paradigms in Modern Times: Heritage of Old Mental Landscapes and their DNA” (2017).
