
Biography
Born in 1953 in Daejeon, Kim Hyoung-gil earned a doctorate in business administration at Hannam University and was appointed as a professor at Jeju National University in 1984. He has since served as a member of the College Personnel Board, deputy head of the Design College Development Project, and head of the Tourism and Business Economics Research Institute. In addition to teaching activities, he served as an advisor to the Korea Brand Committee, president of the Korea Consumer Culture Association, a member of the Jeju City Council for Co-prosperity and Development, and a professional member of Jeju's 6th Industrialization Support Center, and was awarded the 2012 Korea Social Contribution Award for his contributions. The main books include <Start-up and Management> (2012), and <Mediation Effect of Joy in the Relationship of Brand Experience and Brand-Attachedness> (2015), and 130 other papers were published.
