
Biography
Jae-ho Song is the chairman of the Presidential Committee for Balanced National Development. He has served as a commissioner of the Korean National Commission for UNESCO, the president of the Korea Culture and Tourism Institute, and a commissioner of the Presidential Committee for Policy Planning. As the Moon Jae-in Administration has balanced national development as the primary objective of the administration, SONG Jae-ho is pursuing a policy for balanced national development based on the values of decentralization, comprehension, and innovation, by which regions play a leading role in establishing a foundation for growth. As part of this, he is actively collaborating with the Regional Innovation Council and countries around the world to find ways to promote Korea as a nation with balanced development.
