Biography

LEE SeungHwan was born in Pohang, Gyeongsangbuk-do in 1958. He graduated in economics from Korea University and completed a doctoral course in political science at Kyungnam University. Lee Seung Hwan has been involved in the reunification & peace movement in Korea since the end of the 1980s. He has served as co-chairman of the KCRC, co-chairman of the Civil Peace Forum, and co-representative of the political science at Kyungnam University. His current position is Chairman of the South-North Korean Exchanges and Cooperation Support Association. There are many articles related to inter-Korean relations and the unification issue on the Korean Peninsula including "For the Strategic Design of the Reform of the Korean Division System" (Changbi Publishers, 2016).
