Choi Young-hae is the deputy director of the Dong-A Ilbo and is in charge of the review and research team. He has been a member of the Washington correspondent and global news editor-in-chief, and has accumulated experience in various fields including politics, international affairs, economy, diplomacy, and security. The US presidential election in 2012 was covered locally, and in the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Hillary Clinton led the US presidential election as global editor. He interviewed President Barack Obama in October 2011, when the United States Congress ratified the Korea-US FTA. He was an editorial writer of the Dong-A Ilbo and commented on major fields of Korean society, including politics, economy, and foreign affairs. Currently, he is working as a member of the Korea-US Correspondent Club, a media associate from the Korea-US Correspondent.
