This session will be jointly organized with the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs (UNDPPA) and will provide a platform for youth representatives to discuss their recommendations on regional peacebuilding and cooperation with policymakers, exploring pathways to a peaceful future for Northeast Asia. Youth representatives will discuss ways to strengthen cross-border ties in the region through a series of forward-looking approaches, including establishing digital literacy programs, furthering educational and technological cooperation, creating a Northeast Asian Youth Parliament for Climate Action, and as fostering an inclusive Metaverse.
