Most cities in the world face various challenges. Such challenges carry transcendent and multifaceted characteristics in this era of globalization. Therefore, it is neither possible nor desirable for any single city or country to attempt to solve these issues alone. In this regard, it is imperative for global cities to cooperate to cope with these challenges. In this session, Governor Won Heeryong and former Prime Minister of New Zealand Helen Clark will seek ways to promote cooperation among cities to overcome the common challenges that they face.
