Resulting about 10 percent of the population on Jeju Island was killed by security forces, Jeju April 3 incident will have been for 70 years next year. After the movement of democratization in Korean society in 1987, there have been various studies to find the truth of the Jeju April 3 incident. However the discussion and studies of the minorities - women, children, and old people who were killed during the Jeju April 3 incident - are insufficient. This session will be focused on the problems of minorities in East Asia countries who have deep scars from state violence.
