To that end, it will examine the possibility of an economic cooperation network encompassing Jeju Island, Najin Port, Tsushima Island, and Vladivostok on the East Sea rim, as well as seeking to enhance security cooperation in East Asia to solve the North Korean nuclear issue. At the same time, it will propose measures to improve inter-Korean ties and cooperation on the civic and local government (Jeju Special Self-Governing Province) level as a starting point for economic cooperation between the two Koreas.
