Strengthening of Women’s Power in the 21st Century

As a world professional career women's association, BPW (Business & Professional Women) is an international organization for women in professional practice. Women’s participation in social events as well as economic activities is considered the core factor to enhance national competitiveness. Hence, when it comes to women's power use, every nation deals with it in quite a passionate manner while it puts concentration not only on system construction but also on infrastructure improvement so that it can develop its women's power resources.
In consideration of how the whole world is interested in women's power use as mentioned above, in this session, WEP (Women’s Empowerment Principles) developed and introduced by BPW, UNIFEM (United Nations Development Fund for Women), and UN Global Compact will be widely promoted while how to increase women power in the 21st century as well as how to make sexual equality pursued by WEP work with any regular company culture are discussed. Furthermore, the session will observe the present and future status of women’s social activities in many different fields from the economy to diplomacy and the national defense.
