Peace is a comprehensive concept reaching the areas of politics, economics, sociology, and culture. The concept of resilience has been studied and developed in the field of psychology since 1950. It can be stated as a capability of bounce-back toward a normal state of mind from an abnormal mental state. Jeju Peace Institute is pursuing a permanent peace regime in Asia. It is believed that once a permanent peace regime is well introduced and in operation, resilient peace is established. In this session, representatives of renowned think tanks will exchange views on the elements of resilience peace and discuss the ways to contribute to the establishment of resilience peace in Asia.
