The fusion of new technologies including artificial intelligence (AI) is a major driving force for sustainable development and leading to rapid changes in all aspects of industry, economy, and society. The potential of AI technology will bring us a major change in our way of living. However, any development of technology has generally led to the deterioration of the environment in history. In the era of the upcoming fourth industrial revolution which is embodied in hyper-connectivity and super-intelligence, there are things that we should preserve including culture, nature, the environment, the value of life, and ethics. In this session, we will talk about the innovation that AI can generate as to climate, ecosystem, water, and air quality control. We also discuss the possibility of Asian multilateral cooperation and information cloud to make a “smart city of culture and tourism”.
