The 2018 year will be a historic year in terms of peace-building on the Korean Peninsula in the aftermath of the inter-Korean summit. Journalists and mass media can play a key role in maintaining the mood of reconciliation and helping establish a stable peace regime. We would like to share and explore different viewpoints of the media in Korea and Europe when reporting about North Korea. In addition, we would like to discuss how young journalists can contribute to world peace when reporting about conflicts and learn from them about what they believe is lacking in contemporary journalism practice.
