Following Asia’s rapidly changing environment, in terms of the new order and cooperative leadership, it is imperative that Jeju National University cooperate closely with other universities in developing countries for the future of the East Asian region. It is hoped that the discussions regarding the higher education sector carried out by university presidents from these countries along with Jeju National University will project some new perspectives as to what the role of each university might be. It is further hoped that through this discussion, a new Asian value culture might be spearheaded in the advent of a new society. In contrast, possibilities in a common educational program between these Asian universities are sought.
