Asian countries, Korea, China, and Japan among others, have a long history of cultural exchanges. As a result, they share a solid common cultural background, and at the same time develop respective and unique cultural characteristics. In this session, we are going to review a number of features of the cultural exchange among these Asian countries especially in the area of traditional and modern arts, and discuss methods for encouraging such cultural exchanges in the forthcoming years.
