The whole world is now undergoing some dramatic climate changes. Such phenomenon concerns Jeju Island too with so much visible temperature increase in the wintertime including remarkable sea level rises.
With a new policy called ‘Carbon Free Island Jeju by 2030’ established, Jeju Island is working hard to
provide local communities with renewable energy. Along with the environmental movement of Jeju, more people in relevant fields have demanded the design of new methods for integrating renewable energy with current energy sources in order to preserve the environment in a more efficient manner. Hence, for this session, we will discuss possible methodology for such integration, in order to respond to climate change in a wise and timely manner.
