The world has become increasingly integrated due to innovations in transportation, the ready availability of information, and multiple forms of communication. We live in an age of unprecedented human mobility and the borders of nations are becoming increasingly blurred. Following this trend, the Jeju Special Self-governing Province and Foreign Advisory Committee conducted this session to search for new policy directions for foreign residents such as work migration, obtaining permanent residency, visa requirements, and more. In this session, we will discuss and discover possible support systems and policies for foreign residents based on a case study.
