It has been 30 years since Jeju Island was launched as an international free city with the aim of building Jeju International Free City as the center of Northeast Asia and became a special autonomous province. More than ever, Jeju Island is living in an era where it must emphasize the importance of multilateral cooperation. The multilateral cooperation that Jeju Island should pursue should be seen as containing sustainable peace and inclusive prosperity. Sustainable peace should be achieved in the spirit of inclusion and sustainable peace should be established as a virtuous circle that is the basis for the constant reproduction of inclusive prosperity. In order to achieve peace under this concept, economic prosperity and cultural and artistic prosperity must be achieved, and financial support must be supported. In this session, we will reflect on the results of our push for Jeju Internationalization to realize peace in the present era and look at what we did well, what we lacked, and what we regret.
Furthermore, I would like to discuss what needs to be done to internationalize Jeju for peace and prosperity.
