Recent intensification of the US-China rivalry and the uncertainty caused by it, South Korea and ASEAN countries need to seek a responding preemptive strategy. Therefore, in this session, prominent panelists from ASEAN countries will discuss how the US-China rivalry affects Korea-ASEAN cooperation and whether the rivalry acts as a push factor or a pull factor. Finally, the direction for Korea-ASEAN cooperation and specific ways to cooperate will be discussed.
