In the global age, changes are needed to improve the standard of Jeju tourism for the world. We also need to move away from relying heavily on Japanese and Chinese tourists and provide new directions at the strategic level. The session discusses the challenges and problems faced by Jeju tourism, the need for revision of Special Acts on Jeju and administrative procedures, and changes in the roles of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and Jeju Free International City Development Center. Various directions for changes discussed in the session will be the drivers for changes for the future of Jeju Tourism.
