On the occasion of the ASEAN’s 50th anniversary, The Korea Times and the Jeju Peace Institute have jointly organized the ASEAN Journalist Roundtable Session by inviting a distinguished speaker and senior journalists from four ASEAN countries. The session consists of two parts. First, Shin Yoon-Hwan, President of the Korean Association of Southeast Asian Studies, will deliver a keynote speech on the future of cooperation between ASEAN and Korea. Then the panel, four senior journalists from Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines, will discuss diverse issues including ASEAN integration and win-win relationships between ASEAN and Korea, and the role of media.
