‘Korean Unification’ remains a challenge for the peace of East Asia and the future of all Koreans. Korean unification has grown larger than a mere solution to the tragedy of divided Korea, it has become an international issue greatly related to the security, diplomatic, and economic well-being of neighboring countries. Living in a time when the economic and social capacity of overseas Koreans is continually expanding, we will think about the role of the 7.2 million global Korean communities in 181 countries, and discuss how we can contribute to the unification of the Korean peninsula.
