Recently, the concept of “global leadership” has emerged. In this global era, in which the boundaries between domestic and foreign economies are blurred and corporate competition is expanding worldwide, a new leader with a sensitive heart and cool-headed intellect is required. Innovation leads to swift product development, product differentiation, and key factors in global competition; engineers and entrepreneurs are at the heart of it. The protagonists in innovation are corporate members, so innovation is required of the leader. An intellect-sentiment and converged mind are also required of the leader. This session will examine the qualifications for convergence leadership in this new global era and make predictions for the future that leaders will pursue.
