Global Peace Cities Solidarity:Expanding Peace Cities to Pan Pacific Region for Sustainable Peace Promotion

Today's world is an era of polycrisis, such as the pandemic, economic recession, climate crisis, rapid changes in society and technology. In particular, the risk of conflict in Asia and other regions is also increasing after the deepening U.S.-China strategic competition and the Russia-Ukraine war. Amid these geopolitical competitions and conflicts, the role and function of city and local governments level are discussed in order to promote sustainable peace at a time when tensions are increasing as they focus on multilateral alliances and bilateral alliances.
In order to expand the perspective of "Global Peace City Solidarity" centered on European peace cities to the Pacific Rim, Global Peace City Solidarity will establish a cooperative system with “PRP: Pacific Rim Park Ilan-Iael Foundation" and the "WSNPL: World Summit of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate) and discuss the agenda on the sustainable peace.
