It could not be more necessary to emphasize the importance of international cooperation for environmental protection in the process of social and economic development in Asian countries. In particular, the size and scope of the social and economic development of Asian countries are enormous when compared to those in other areas of the world. Therefore, it is essential to encourage and share the knowledge and experience of environment-friendly development for our common prosperity. In this session, we will discuss the issues of environment-friendly urban development under the concept of ‘eco-city’ development.
