Lately, although large-scale new & renewable energy projects are underway to reduce the effects of global warming, they are having difficulties in proceeding due to the local acceptance. As a solution to this challenge, distributed generation has been suggested, which is already activated in foreign countries. Therefore, Jeju Energy Corporation (JEC) will analyze the community wind power cases in foreign countries for constructing carbon-free islands, and consider a way to apply it to Jeju and Asia.
