H.E. Mr. Begench DURDYYEV is a career diplomat with nearly three decades of experience in diplomacy and international relations. Throughout his career, he has served in a number of senior positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Administration of the President of Turkmenistan.
His overseas assignments have included diplomatic postings in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Korea, where he has contributed to the development of bilateral relations and international cooperation. He has served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea since July 2022 and concurrently as Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore since March 2023.
H.E. Mr. Begench DURDYYEV graduated from Turkmen State University with a degree in Oriental Studies. He speaks Turkmen, Russian, English and Persian.
