[Jeju Peace Institute 제주평화연구원]<BR><BR>The advent of the Trump administration means a transformation of American foreign policy. The U.S. will improve the relations with Russia while it will adopt a hard line approach toward China. On the other hand, the U.S. under Trump pays more attention on improving trade balance with traditional allies such as South Korea and Japan rather than on facilitating cooperation in security issue. This session will discuss the regional order under the American leadership in East Asia in general and the American foreign policy on the Korean peninsula and denuclearization of North Korea in specific.<BR><BR>트럼프 행정부의 등장은 미국 외교 정책의 변화를 의미한다. 미국은 러시아와 관계 개선을 추진하는 한편 중국에게는 강경노선을 취하고 있다. 한국·일 본과 같은 전통적인 우방에 대해서는 안보분야의 협력보다 무역수지 개선에 우선순위를 두고 있다. 미 국이 주도하는 외교 정책의 전환에 따른 동아시아 국제질서의 변화를 논의하고 그 과정에서 한미관계를 포함한 미국의 대한반도 정책과 대북 비핵화에 대한 대응을 토론한다.
