동아시아 대테러 대응체제에 대한 국제법적 검토

Terrorism is one of the most serious threats to international peace and security. The latest terrorist attack in Indonesian capital of Jakarta, in particular, raises great concerns among Asian countries on their national security. This session discusses the importance for Korea to provide positive support on the global ‘anti-terrorism movement’ and the concrete legal basis that may justify its support.

오늘날 테러리즘은 국제 평화와 안전에 상당한 위협으로 작용하고 있다. 최근 인도네시아에서 잇단 테러가 발생하는 등 아시아 지역 안보에도 적지 않은 영향을 주고 있다. 이에 우리나라는 국제사회의 ‘반테러 전선’ 구축에 적극적으로 동참하여 안보 위협을 억제할 필요가 있으며, 세밀한 국제법 분석을 통하여 대테러 대응태세에 대한 정당성 및 근거 마련이 필요하다. 본 세션에서는 이와 관련한 국내·외 전문가의 의견을 들어보는 기회를 제공하고자 한다.
