[9-B] Building a Creative Partnership among East Asian Culture Cities
[Jeju Special Self-Governing Province & World Culture Open(WCO)]

Since 2014, a city from each of China, Japan and Korea has been designated every year as East Asian Culture City upon the agreement among the Cultural Ministries of the three countries.
Nine cities, including this year’s East Asian Culture Cities, Jeju Island, City of Ningbo and Nara, have been designated for the last three years, and these cities have made efforts to promote friendship among people of three countries through various cultural, artistic and academic exchange at both inter-governmental and community-based levels. In this session, policy makers and planners from the nine East Asian Culture Cities will explore the means of the creative partnership and network among East Asian Culture Cities.
