한국현대사에서 한국전쟁 다음으로 극심한 인명 피해를 낸 제주 4.3사건. 제주 4.3 평화공원의 전문 해설사와 함께 제주 4.3을 바로 알고, 긴박했던 피난생활과 당시 학살 상황을 그대로 재현한 동굴을 돌아봅니다. 당시 제주도민의 처절한 삶을 기억하고 추념하며, 화해와 상생의 미래를 열어가기 위한 평화와 인권의 의미를 되새겨보는 프로그램입니다. 

The Jeju April 3 (hearafter called ‘4∙3’) incident is one of the most tragic incidents next to the Korean War in terms of loss of lives. In Jeju 4.3 Peace Park, visitors look around the cave that reproduces the existing state at the time of recovery, reminding us of the situations of the strained refugees and the massacre. This course is to visit a memorial for the victims of the Jeju civilian massacre and to begin a new era of reconciliation and mutual prosperity based on human rights and peace.
