Keeho Yang graduated from Yonsei University’s College of Social Sciences, and received his doctoral degree in political science from Keio University in Japan. He is currently a professor at Sungkonghoe University in the Department of Japanese Studies, and serves as a policy advisory committee member in the Office of National Security at the Blue House. He was a visiting professor at the Asian/Pacific Studies Institute at Duke University.
He also actively contributes to both Korean and international media outlets on the topic of South Korea-Japan relations. His major publications and articles include and “How should South Korea view Japan? History, Issues, and Strategy” (EAF Policy Debates, Jan. 16th, 2018), 50 years of Normalization of Relations between South Korea and Japan and South Korea-Japan Relations (2016), and “From South Korea-Japan Conflict to International Issue- Analysis and Implications of the Spreading Process of the Comfort Women Issue” (2015).

양기호는 성공회대학교 교수로 재직중이며, 한일관계에 대하여 논문과 저서, 신문과 방송을 통하여 활발하게 발신하고 있다. 연세대학교 정치외교학과를 졸업한 뒤, 1994년 일본 게이오(慶應)대학에서 정치학박사를 취득하였다. 현재, 청와대 국가안보실 정책자문위원, 민주평통자문회의 상임위원, 동북아역사재단 자문위원으로 활동중이다. 일본 릿쿄대학, 도호쿠대학 방문연구원, 미국 Duke University 아태연구소 방문교수 등을 거쳤다. 최근 저작으로 양기호 “한국은 일본을 어떻게 보아야 할 것인가?-역사, 현안, 전략-” (2018.01), 문정인·양기호 공편 [한일 국교정상화 50주년과 한일관계] (2016) 등이 있다.
