Dr. Young-Han Kim obtained his Ph.D. degree from Indiana University in 1997 specializing in international economics and industrial organization, and was a Chief Research Fellow at Samsung Economic Research Institute he joined the faculty of the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) in 1998. At HUFS, he was a professor of international economics at Graduate School of International Studies. Since 2001, he has taught international economics and regional economic integration at Economics Dept. of Sungkyunkwan University. He has served as chairperson of Global Economics Dept from 2009 to 2016. He has also served as an policy advisor to Ministry of Trade and Industry from 2003 to 2007 and has been Vice President of Korean Association of Trade and Industry Studies since 2007. Professor Kim has published over 80 journal and conference papers, co-authored twelve books mainly focusing on regional economic integration and industrial relocation after international economic integration. Lately, he focuses his researches on optimal international coordination mechanism to reduce regional conflicts and regime stability.
<BR><BR>김영한(金暎漢·56) 성균관대 교수는 국제경제학, 특히 국제경제통합과 산업구조재편에 초점에 맞추고 연구하고 있다. 서울대학교에서 사회철학을 전공한 후, 삼성경제연구소에서 사회주의경제분석업무를 담당하였고, 미국 Indiana대학으로 유학하여 국제경제학, 특히 국제무역정책과 최적산업협력전략을 분석한 논문으로 경제학박사학위를 받았다. 귀국 후, 삼성경제연구소와 한국외국어대학교 국제지역대학원을 거쳐, 현재 성균관대학교 경제학과 교수로 재직 중이다. 국제경제통합과 국제산업협력정책, 그리고 지역체제안정을 위한 국제정책조정체계연구를 진행하면서, 동시에 산업자원부의 정책평가위원을 역임하였고, 국제통상학회 부회장으로 활동하고 있다.
