Dr. Min obtained her Ph.D degree from University of Iowa, majoring in political science. Her research area is American politics, foreign policy, minority policy, methodology. She was a lecturer at George Washington University from 2010 to 2011; a visiting research fellow at Sejong Institute from 2012 to 2013; a BK21 plus research professor at Korea University from 2013 to 2015; Currently, she is a research fellow at the division of Unification Policy Studies in Korea Institute for National Unification (KINU).
<BR><BR>민태은 박사는 현재 통일연구원 통일정책연구실의 연구위원을 역임하고 있다. 박사학위는 미국 아이오 대학교의 정치학과에서 취득하였으며, 주요 연구분야는 미국 정치, 외교정책, 소수자 정치, 통계방법론이다. 2010년부터 2011년까지 미국 조지워싱턴 대학교에서 정치학과 강사로서 활동하였으며, 2012년부터 2013년에는 세종연구원에서 연구원을 역임하였다. 2013년에는 서울시립대학교 국제관계학과 강사를 맡았고, 2013년부터 2015년까지 고려대학교 정치학과 BK21 책임연구교수를 역임하였다. 2015년에는 숙명여자대학교 다문화 통합연구소 연구위원직을 맡았고, 2015년에는 성균관대학교 정치외교학과 겸임교수를 역임하였다.
