Dr. Kim “Elena” obtained her Ph.D. degree from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Feb. 2008. She was a research Fellow in Law Research Center of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies from Mar. 2009 to Dec. 2011. And she has been a research Fellow in Korea-China Relation Research Institute of Wonkwang University from 2012 until now.
Especially she joined and taught as a Foreign professor of the University of Shandong University at Weihai in China From Sep. 2009 to Jul. 2011.
She has been a Research Fellow in Office of Comparative Law at KLRI from 2011, and now, She is a Senior Research Fellow in Office of Economic Law Research at KLRI.

한국법제연구원 경제법제연구실 연구위원
김명아 연구위원은 경제 관련 법제 전문가이자 중국법제전문가이다. 2008년 2월 한국외국어대학교에서 중국 증권법 관련 연구 논문을 통해 법학박사 학위를 취득하였다. 2009년부터 2011년까지 한국외국어대학교 법학연구소에서 연구위원으로 활동하면서 한국외국어대학교/경기대학교/관동대학교 등에서 법학 관련 강의를 하였고, 2012년부터 지금까지는 원광대학교 한중관계연구원의 연구위원으로 위촉되어 있다.
특히, 2009년 9월부터 2011년 7월까지는 중국의 산동대학교 법학원에서 외국인교수로 재직하면서 중국법제 연구와 강의를 수행하였다.
그리고, 2011년에는 한국법제연구원 비교법제연구실 소속 부연구위원으로 임용되었으며, 2015년 경제법제연구실로 부서를 옮겨 경제/산업 관련 입법 업무 및 법제 연구를 심화하여 온 바 있다. 2017년 현재에는 연구위원으로 승진하여 경제법제연구실에서 지속적으로 관련 연구에 매진하고 있다.
