LEE Ji-yong is an Assistant professor of Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security, Korea National Diplomatic Academy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Dr. LEE previously taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses at the State University of New York (U.S.A), Fudan University (PRC), and Konkuk University (South Korea). Dr. LEE received his doctorate from the department of Political Science, Nelson A. Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy, the State University of New York (Albany). He specializes in China’s politics and foreign policy, as well as Sino-North Korean relations and North Korea.

이지용 교수는 현재 국립외교원 외교안보연구소 아시아•태평양연구부 교수로 재직 중이다. 이 교수는 미국 뉴욕주립대, 중국 복단대 그리고 건국대에서 강의를 하였으며, 2010년부터 외교안보연구소에서 근무하기 시작했다. 이지용 교수는 미국 뉴욕주립대에서 정치학박사 학위를 취득했으며 주요연구분야로는 중국정치 및 외교정책, 북중관계 등이 있다.
