Founder and President
Adam Malaty-Uhr obtained his Master’s Degree in Adult Psychology and Leadership Development from Harvard University in 2015, and later served as a Teaching Fellow for the Harvard University Asia Center, teaching transformational leadership in nine cities and six countries across Asia. He founded his own company, Growing at Work, in 2015 where he works with Fortune 500 Companies to support their ability to build high quality leaders. He is currently designing a midcareer leadership development program for Homeland Security professionals in the United States. He has served as an Assistant Professor of Military Science training combat leaders for the United States Army at Illinois Institute of Technology, Loyola University, and DePaul University from 2011 to 2014. He has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign earned in 2014, focused on technologies to support human psychological development through digital platforms. In 2014, he served at the senior operational command for the United States Army designing leader development solutions to support the development for over one million Soldiers and Civilians. Adam Malaty-Uhr commissioned into the United States Military as an Army Infantry Officer in 2006, and deployed to Afghanistan to train and support Afghan National Police from 2008 to 2009. He is a recipient of the Bronze Star and a graduate of Ranger School, the United States Army’s premier leader development program. He is a third degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. He is an advisory board member of two non-profits, No One Left Behind helping resettle Afghan and Iraqi refugees in the United States and Empower 2 Play an organization that support high risk youth through the power of sports diplomacy.
