Eunji KIM is a senior researcher at the Institute for Middle Eastern Studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies(HUFS), Seoul. She is working as a lecturer in the Department of Arabic Interpretation and Translation(AIT) since 2011. She was a research assistant in the GCC Institute at Dankook University. Her research focuses on National Identity Building Process and Education in the Gulf States, Youth culture and Culture Contents in the Middle East.
She holds a ph.D. and M.A. in Middle Eastern Sociology from Graduate School of International and Area Studies(GSIAS) at HUFS. She currently serves on a number of boads in KAMES(Korean Association of Middle East Studies), KAIS(Korean Association of Islamic Studies).

김은지 박사는 한국외국어대학교 중동연구소 책임연구원으로 동대학 아랍어통번역학과, 국제지역대학원 중동·아프리카학과 강사를 겸직하고 있다. 홍익대학교와 단국대학교에서 아랍사회문화 관련 강의를 진행한 바 있으며, 한국중동학회와 한국이슬람학회의 사무국장, 이사로 활동해왔다.
한국외국어대학교 국제지역대학원에서 사회학(중동사회문화)으로 박사학위를 취득했다. 주요 연구 분야는 GCC 국가 왕정의 교육을 통한 국가정체성 확립, 중동문화콘텐츠와 청소년문화이다. 주요 논문으로는 “National Identity Inculcation through Education in Kuwait”, 주요 저서로는 『중동 문화코드의 이해 』, 『기초아랍어문법』 등이 있다.
