Lee Jong-Guk is a research fellow at the NAHF, Seoul Korea. Previously he was a Research Professor and Fellow at University of Tokyo(Cold War International History Project) and the Keio University of Tokyo(Human Security Project of Northeast Asian). His Expertise are International Politics and History, Northeast Asian IR and Japan Foreign Policy and Security. He pursued his degree in University of Tokyo Faculty of Law and received PhD degree.

His Major Co-Publications are “North Korea and Human Security” in Keio University Press (2009), edited with Okonogi Masao, “International Comparative in Foreign Policy of Local Government” in Keio University Press (2009), edited with Ik-Sub,Sim and “The 21Century Japan’s Nation Revolution” Olum Press (2006), edited with Sung-Dong,Bae Seoul National University Press (2000)

His Major Articles are “The Peace Order in East Asia and the Korean Peninsula” (2000), “The East Asia Order and Détente of Korean Peninsula” (2003), “The East Asia Order and Japan in Post Cold War” (2003) and “The Governance of Japan‘s Local Government” (2006)

이종국은 동북아역사재단의 연구위원이다. 그는 도쿄대학과 게이오대학에서 연구교수 겸 연구위원(국제냉전사 프로젝트)과 도쿄 게이오대학(동북아 인간안보 프로젝트)에서 활동했다. 그의 전문분야는 국제정치와 역사, 동북아 IR, 일본외교안보이며, 도쿄대학교에서 법학부에서 수학하였고, 그 곳에서 박사학위를 받았다.
그의 주요 공동출판물은 오코노기 마사오 “북한과 인간 안보” (2009), 심익섭 “지방정부의 대외정책 국제비교” (2006), 배성동 “21세기 일본의 국가혁명” (2000)이 있다.
그의 주요 논문으로는 “동아시아와 한반도 평화질서” (2000), “한반도의 동아시아 질서와 긴장완화” (2003), “냉전 이후 동아시아 질서와 일본” (2003), “일본 지방정부의 지배구조” (2006) 등이 있다.
