Head of International Relations
Wirya Adiwena is the Head of International Relations and a Researcher at the ASEAN Studies Progam, The Habibie Center. Prior to joining in November 2014, he worked at the Office of the Special Staff on International Relations for President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, Indonesia's 6th president. He holds a MA in Social and Global Justice from University of Nottingham. In The Habibie Center, Wirya is overseeing a number of projects and researches under the four pillars of The Habibie Center principles: democracy, human rights, social justice, and culture. Furthermore, he is also currently involved in a number of track two diplomacy between civil society organisations and academic institutions through the Indonesia-New Zealand 15+15 Dialogue and the MIKTA Academic Network (Mexico, Indonesia, South Korea, Turkey, and Australia).
