1956년11월4일 출생. 1982년 7월 중국란주(兰州)대학 철학학과졸업. 1982년 8월—1987년 12월 연변당학교 강사. 1988년 1월—지금까지 연변대학 국제정치학과 교수. 연변대학 정치학과 학부장, 연변대학동북아국제정치연구소 소장, 연변대학동북아연구원 원장, 연변대학 조선-한국연구센타 주임, 연변대학조선한국연구센타 수석연구원 등 역임. 현재 연변대학국제정치학과 교수, 연변대학조선한국연구센타 연구원. 주요 연구방향: 한반도문제, 중국의 동북아 발전전략과 한반도정세. 60여편 상관 논문 발표.

Jin Qiangyi was born in November 4, 1956. He graduated Lanzhou University with a B.A. on philosophy in July, 1982. From August, 1982 to December, 1987, he taught at the Yanbian University as a lecturer. From 1988 January to present, he has been a professor of International Politics at Yanbian University. He served as the Head of Political Science Department, Director of the Institute of Northeast Asian International Politics, Director of Northeast Asia Research Institute, Head of Chosun-Korea Research Center, and Senior Researcher of the Chosun Korea Research Center, and so on at Yanbian University. He is now serving as a professor of International Politics and researcher of the Chosun Korea Research Center at Yanbian University. Main field of his research is Korean peninsula, China's Northeast Asian development strategy and the Korean Peninsula situation. He has published around 60 journals on related topics.
